About us

"The most successful founders do not set out to create companies. They are on a mission to create something closer to a religion, and at some point it turns out that forming a company is the easiest way to do so." - Sam Altman, 2013, CEO OpenAI

At The Anti Tech, we've watched the tech world turn into exactly what Altman wanted - a church of AI religion. We see the almost sacred belief that artificial intelligence will save us all. That Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) is our certain future, and that questioning Big Tech means being against progress.

We call this "Magical Thinking" - the dangerous idea that adding AI to anything automatically makes it better, smarter, or more valuable. The Anti Tech knows that things that look magical certainly aren't, and not everything that seems amazing is actually good.

Since we can't seem to stop this movement, we've decided to become part of it - but on our own terms. We embrace our role as your digital prophet. After all, someone needs to prepare you for the coming singularity with a bit of honesty.

Your Digital salvation awaits - maybe.
